Kim Kardashian’s foray into music appears to be confined to just one song. The reality TV star told MTV’s “The Seven” this week that she has no plans to release a record. Kardashian explains, quote, “There’s no album in the works or anything – just one song we did for the show and a video Hype Williams directed.” On New Year’s Eve, Kardashian previewed her song “Turn It Up” during a party at Las Vegas’ Tao nightclub. A release date for the Hype Williams-directed video hasn’t been announced, but Kardashian says fans will get an inside look at the recording process during the upcoming season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” Kardashian adds that half the proceeds from “Turn It Up” will be donated to a cancer foundation.
Fans can catch Kim Kardashian on the E! Network this weekend when she debuts her new reality show “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.” The series premiere airs Sunday at 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
