“Reading Rainbow” star LeVar Burton reads a profanity-filled book for charity!

Oh my butterfly in the sky! Video of LeVar Burton reading a portion of the profanity laden book “Go the F*** to Sleep” has caused a bit of a rumble on the ‘Net! Apparently, Burton provided his reading talents during a charity event affiliated with raising funding for hospitals within the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

Burton has been a decades-long advocate for literacy in children and adults and read the 2011 bestselling book written by Adam Mansbach to a group of adults. The book was inspired by Mansbach’s toddler daughter who constantly had issues when it came to going to sleep at bedtime. Obviously, many other parents who had the same issues with getting their child to bed every night could relate to Mansbach’s apparent frustration.
