Lil Flip will fight his recent drug and gun arrest because he claims that the assault rifle found in his car is legal and he can prove it 100 percent!

TMZ reports Flip was arrested Christmas night in Louisiana when a cop pulled him over for speeding and allegedly they found marijuana and an AR-15 rifle in the car. He was taken in by police for the possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of drugs. Flip says he has a valid license to carry the gun and that it is not automatic firing. He says he needs to carry the gun because he has been shot before and is an entertainer.

Wesley Eric Weston known as Lil Flip sent over a legal copy of his Texas concealed handgun license and it says that it is valid in 22 other states, including Louisiana. He claims the ‘weed’ was actually “Black and Mild” wine flavored cigars and clove cigarettes and that he is “not one of those rappers who would carry drugs on me. I know better.” He will plead ‘Not Guilty’ and says, “I know they don’t mess around in Louisiana and I wouldn’t do anything to make me go to the big house. Especially on Christmas night.”
