Lil Wayne Apologizes For Slack Year

Lil Wayne seems to be feeling pretty low since he’s apologizing for having a slack year.

His I Am Not a Human Being II album dropped back in March, but it only peaked at No. 2 on the charts, selling half a million copies to date. This sound pretty good until you compare it its chart-topping predecessor Tha Carter IV that sold 3.5 million.

In addition to this Lil Wayne was not nominated for any BET or VMA awards.

In Wayne’s defense, he was in and out of the hospital with seizures multiple times this year, but judging from the tone of his tweet, he is not using that as an excuse for anything.

Wayne’s Dedication 5 mixtape is expect to drop later this year, and he wrapped up this “America’s Most Wanted” tour this past weekend, so maybe he’ll get some rest and get those creative juices flowing once again.
