Lil Wayne New Shoe Line, Publicly Apologizes For Emmett Till Lyric, and Drops New Video – ‘God Bless Amerika’

Lil Wayne has issued another apology to the family of Civil Rights icon Emmett Till. Weezy caught hell earlier this year after comparing the Emmett Till’s death to rough sex in Future’s “Karate Chop“.

He performed “Karate Chop” in a recent concert in Nashville and instead of rapping the lyric he says

“I Apologize to the family of Emmett Till.”

Check out the video below:

While Wayne had previously issued a statement addressing the lyric, he never said the words “I apologize.”

The firestorm of controversy surrounding the lyric caused Lil Wayne to lose a sponsorship deal with Mountain Dew.
