Maxwell is hitting the road, and he’s taking his entire catalog of music with him. The R&B star will be performing all four of his records during two-night stands in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Newark, New Jersey this summer. Billboard.com says the “Pretty Wings” singer will perform his first two releases during his first night in the city, and his last two records during his second show. The trek gets under way on July 27th and runs through August 4th. Maxwell will also be using his concerts to raise money for President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign. Merchandise supporting Obama will be available at select shows, with all of the proceeds going to the President’s re-election campaign.

Last year Maxwell performed to an intimate 150-member audience at New York City’s Metropolis Studios in May 2011. The soul singer performed twelve songs for the 15th season of VH1 Storytellers and fans will be able to watch all the performances.
