Michael Jackson Dancing Filipino Inmates Are Back To Wasting Tax Payers Dollars

I have to say if I was paying taxes over in the Filipins I would be really pissed that inmates were spending all their time learning dance routines… Here is Michael Jackson’s long-time choreographer Travis Payne, with dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid, who taught over 400 inmates a routines from “This Is It.”..

Shouldn’t they be out picking up trash.. Check out their other videos..

  2. MZOJUMU says:

They are wasting tax payers money cause someone has to come in and teach the routine and of couse they are gonna want to get paid that is how……nothing is for free, and trust and believe the phillipine gov…is not paying for that….

I love you and all Freddy but you really need spell check or something. Those prisoners are getting on my damn nerves. They need to pick up some trash or something. It was cute at first but enough is enough!

And they wonder why the prisons stay full. It’s like a vacation.

  5. Better than nothing says:

Wouldn’t you rather them be in the prison learning SOMETHING and not causing riots because they’re bored rather than be out of the prison still committing crimes and causing hell on Phillipine citizens?

I’m quite sure that MJ had no problem with the tribute before he passed on.

  6. are you kidding says:

this has got to be one of the most idiotic remarks I have read in a long time. how do you know that Travis and Dres and Daniel did not volunteer their time to teach the inmates the dance routine….and just maybe, the dance was an incentive to inmates who displayed an improvement while serving their time.

You think picking up trash is a better use of their time? Guess what, even murderers get out of prison…..I would rather see them get an education, job training etc….if they leave just as they enter……chances are….they will end up committing a crime…

And to the one who said prison is like a vacation….apparently you would enjoy being told what to do every minute of the day….eating food you had no choice…no privacy…..yeah. sounds like fun to me. geesh

This will look great on their resumes when they are released.
The wardens idea is terrific. Kudos to him and all involved.

they’re not wasting tax payer’s money. it was the choreographer’s idea to feature them because of the previous MJ songs the prisoners danced to. the prison actually gets donations from visitors and even from those who have seen the videos. they have used the money to improve the prison facilities and i read somewhere that the families of the inmates gets a share too of whatever the prison gets in donations. More importantly, they have eliminated riots in that prison. this is actually a maximum security prison, 70% of the inmates are accused/convicted of murder, drug charges and other capital crimes. their dancing regimen has actually been an effective rehabilitation program.
