The woman who claims Michael Jordan is the father of her 16 year old son is dropping her paternity lawsuit against the NBA legend. Sources says for reasons unknown Pamela Smith has filed legal documents in Georgia asking the judge to dismiss her case against Jordan. The judge has apparently granted her request with the option for Smith to refile her case if she so chooses. Smith recently asked the court to order a DNA test. Jordan filed a countersuit against the Atlanta woman accusing her of making false claims.
The former Chicago Bulls superstar is preparing to make another trip down the wedding aisle seven years after ending his 17-year-marriage to Juanita Vanoy in a costly divorce settlement. Jordan was recently spotted filing for a marriage license in West Palm Beach and is reportedly due to wed model Yvette Prieto next month.
