(9/28/2010) N-Secure will finally make its premiere prior to its nationwide theatrical release in theaters across the country on Friday, October 15, 2010. The star studded Atlanta movie premiere will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2010.
N-Secure is a no holds-barred, in your face, full-on drama mixed with murder, mayhem and manipulation between men and women. According to producer/writer Lewis, N-Secure’s plot is mixed with some fact and some fiction from an experience he had early in life. The story centers on a Desert Storm war veteran whose strict upbringing and insecurities lead him into a series of troubled romantic relationships and, eventually, a web of events that includes betrayal and murder. The main character soon becomes a man more adept at avoiding injury in war than in “negotiating the minefields of romantic relationships.†N-Secure is being called a cross between Fatal Attraction and “C.S.I.†all rolled into one. Throughout the film, feelings of insecurity finally force one man’s relationship to change and as a result, people either get played or come out as the winner.
Producers have assembled a cast of recognizable movie and television actors, undoubtedly some of Hollywood’s most talented stars. N-Secure stars Essence Atkins (a regular on the former hit comedy, “Half and Half†and the movie Deliver Us From Eva), who is also the star of the new TBS and Ice Cube produced show, “Are We There Yet?â€Â and more recently featured in the Wayans’ movie, Dance Flick; TV and movie star and Memphian Elise Neal (Hustle & Flow, “The Hughleysâ€); Tempestt Bledsoe (Vanessa Huxtable on “The Cosby Showâ€); Lamman Rucker (Star of Tyler Perry’s TBS sitcom, “Meet the Browns†and Perry’s movie, Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too?); Denise Boutte (Also Star of Tyler Perry’s TBS sitcom, “Meet the Brownsâ€Â and Perry’s Why Did I Get Married?); BerNadette Stanis (Thelma from the hit TV classic, “Good Timesâ€); Toni Trucks (TV’s “Barbershopâ€); Caryn Ward (TV’s “The Gameâ€) and comedian Nephew Tommy (Co-host of the hit nationally syndicated radio show, “The Steve Harvey Morning Showâ€). N-Secure also introduces actor Cordell Moore (a veteran of such Tyler Perry’s stage productions as “Diary of a Mad Black Woman†and “Why Did I Get Married?â€) to the film world. Blues legends J. Blackfoot, Theodis Ealey, Floyd Taylor and Latimore, also make cameos in the film and can be seen in various club scenes.
