Janelle Monáe recently premiered her new video for her latest single, “Dance Apocalyptic”.
This highly creative video shows a different side of Monáe than what we are used to seeing. In the video for “Dance Apocalyptic” which was directed by Wendy Morgan, Monáe is showing is seen performing and dancing with long, wavy hair, and in a casual outfit (which is different from her usual formal, tux attire).

“Dance Apocalyptic” will be a featured song in Monáe’s new CoverGirl TV ad for Clean Whipped Creme Foundation, and is a featured track on her forthcoming project, The Electric Lady, is scheduled to be released in stores on September 10.
