Even when he’s locked up behind bars, rap superstar Lil Wayne can’t be kept off TV. On Sunday night, the emcee debuted the video for his latest hit “I’m Single” on MTV2’s “Sucker Free Countdown” as well as MTV Jams. “I’m Single” appears on Wayne’s “No Ceilings” mixtape, while the clip for the tune was directed by DJ Scoob Doo. DJ Scoob Doo says Lil Wayne’s latest video is similar to a popular Martin Lawrence movie from the 1990s. He tells MTV News, quote, “it brought me back to watching the film ‘A Thin Line Between Love and Hate.’ Me growing up watching Martin [Lawrence], it was epic, it was a funny movie. I loved the cinematography in it.”
