It seems Nicki Minaj is putting herself in Mitt Romney’s corner. The rapper offers her endorsement of the GOP presidential hopeful on a new collaboration with Lil Wayne called “Mercy,” released Monday as part of Wayne’s “Dedication 4” mixtape. Before dropping a few choice expletives to attack the “lazy” she says are messing up the economy, Minaj raps, quote, “I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney.” Ironically, however, Minaj and Wayne are rapping over a beat produced by Kanye West, who attended the 2008 Democratic National Convention in support of President Obama. The 2012 DNC is scheduled to get under way Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
