Obama Gives Presidential Acknowledgement To Young Jeezy at Correspondents’ Association Dinner : PHOTOS



Young Jeezy is finally getting a shout-out from “his president.” Barack Obama  arrived to the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner which was held at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC with his lovely wife First lady Michelle Obama. Also in the building was  Alicia Keys, Swiss Beatz, Kim Kardashian, Mary J. Blige, Rosario Dawson, John Legend, Holly Robinson Peete, and Kerry Washington who also came out to the fundraisers as well.

Jeezy’s name popped up on the punch lines President Obama delivered during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. Saturday night. The president made reference to the rapper’s single, “My President,” that was recorded on the day Obama sealed the Democratic nomination for the Presidency. P.S. Obama made 3 million at the dinner!!! The song, which also features Nas, is featured on Young Jeezy’s album “The Recession.” In 2008, the rapper told MTV in 2008 that even though he laced the track with praises of the president-to-be, he wasn’t expecting any kind of “thank you.” He said, “I feel like he did his thing, and I did what I could to help.” Here’s the hit song…

    Well about time. Since he bout to run again but its ok can’t help but give him his props.Better late than never. I know he is HAPPY !
