Long passed rappers Eazy-E and ODB are returning to the concert stage. Plans are in the works to resurrect the late rappers via hologram for the upcoming Rock The Bells hip-hop music festival this fall. Allhiphop says ODB, who died almost ten years ago, will join his reunited rap group the Wu-Tang Clan at Rock The Bells, while N.W.A.’s Eazy-E, who died in 1995, will “appear” alongside his proteges in Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Common, Kid Cudi, Tyler the Creator and Rakim are among the other really “live” acts set to perform at Rock The Bells.
Last year’s Coachella festival turned the music world on its ear with a memorable performance by the late Tupac Shakur, also via hologram. This year’s Rock the Bells shows will begin September 7th and 8th in San Bernardino, California. The two-day fest will also include stops in Mountainview, California on September 14th and 15th; Washington, D.C. on September 28th and September 29th and Rutherford, New Jersey on October 4th and 5th.
