This week Oprah Winfrey’s publicist Lisa Halliday quit her! However, while I’m sure your waiting to hear about the beef between the two, we have to tell you: THERE IS NONE! Her publicist simply decided to move back to Los Angeles. A lot of sources have been saying that Oprah wanted Ms. Halliday to stay in Chicago to help with Rosie O’Donnell’s new talk show that will be on OWN. However, Lisa has come forward and has stated that all of this mess with her staying in Chicago to help with Rosie’s show is nothing but false rumors. She even said that Oprah “has been nothing but supportive of my decision to move back to Los Angeles. We did not have a falling-out.” Interesting. I wonder what’s in LA that would make her quit working for Oprah of all people. It’s gotta be something pretty important OR she’s lying about there not being any beef between her and Big O.
