Packers Win Super Bowl 45 (Arlington, TX) — The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31 to 25 to win Super Bowl 45 Sunday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes for Green Bay, which built a 21-3 first-half lead and held on from there to capture its fourth Super Bowl championship. Rodgers completed 24-of-39 passes for 304 yards for the Packers.

Jordy Nelson caught nine passes for 140 yards and a score in the win. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin called Pittsurgh’s defeat “a loss,” saying his team was outplayed by the Packers. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger [[ ROTH-lis-ber-ger ]] was 25-of-40 for 263 yards and two touchdowns, but was also picked off twice. Rashard Mendenhall also had a key fumble for the Steelers, who were denied their seventh Super Bowl championship.
