Paula Patton opened up with Vanity Fair about her “deep love” for Robin Thicke. This is her first time speaking out since their break up back in February.

Actress Paula Patton is opening up after separation with Robin Thicke. She recently did an interview with Vanity Fair and held nothing back. While shooting for the June Issue, she discussed the “deep love” she still has for Thicke. “We’ve known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there – always was, and always will be,” she explained.

She also paints the image of their first kiss. Thicke wooed her with his soulful voice before going for it. They were in his father’s living room and he sung Jodeci’s “Forever My Lady” before kissing her. Although, he was not her first kiss, she did admit that he was her “first lots of other things.”

Patton and Thicke have a three year old son, Julian, and were married for nine years before the split. Not too long after they called it quits, Thicke admitted to a crowd, “I’m trying to get my girl back.”
