The Tabernacle was off the chain last night as 2 Chainz and the Street Execs hosted their annual give back concert celebrating the holidays. T.R.U. Foundation was the brainchild of 2 Chainz and fiance Nakesha Ward founded in March, 2013, is geared to assist those in need, specifically in areas such as education, money management and job readiness. They decided to give back to the kids of Atlanta with it’s huge concert last night.
Atlanta came through to show their love and support for 2 Chainz last night. The Tabernacle was filled to capacity as the city grooved to the beat and gave back to the community.
2 Chainz was disappointed because the show was shut down before Atlanta-based artists and friends, including Travis Porter, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Bankroll Fresh, CAP1, Young Dolph, K Camp, and Khaotic was able to get on the stage.
The evening was hosted by DC Young Fly, Emmanuel Hudson of Archive Entertainment. Admission was free with an unwrapped gift, which was donated to the annual T.R.U. Foundation toy drive.
Notable guests includes T.I., Tiny, and the entire Grand Hustle family.
Trinidad James, Birdman, and Rich Homie Quan was there to lend his support. It was so much fun. I hate that I got there late but you know I had to support my girl Kandi Burruss’ Christmas Party.
The night was spectauclar as they collected thousands of toys to benefit the youth of Atlanta. ATL did a great job but I have to tell you about the RATCHET MOMENT OF THE EVENING. So somebody decided to bring one ornament instead of a toy. Now we need people to understand that this is a charity event. It was real raggedy of them to bring just an ornament and 2 Chainz called them out for being tacky.
Shout out to 2 Chainz and the Street Executives on a job well done. Atlanta let them know that it’s a great look.
2Chainz is hosting a toy giveaway today. It’s going down in Southwest Atlanta.
