Holder of several NBA championship rings, basketball legend Michael Jordan is once again sporting a wedding ring. People.com says the former Chicago Bulls star tied the knot with longtime girlfriend and model Yvette Prieto Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida. About 500 guests bore witness to the event held at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Presbyterian Church. According to People.com, Jordan’s reception included 15-hundred invited guests. Jordan, who is 50, reportedly met 35-year-old Prieto five years ago at a Miami nightclub. The couple got engaged in December 2011 and were spotted getting a marriage license at the Palm Beach County Courthouse last month.
This is the second marriage for Jordan whose 17-year marriage to Juanita Vanoy ended in 2006. Their separation was one of the costliest celebrity divorces of all time. Jordan and Vanoy share three children together. Jordan is the current owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats.
