“The Purple One” didn’t make the Billboard list recently. But he turned up on a list of delinquent taxpayers in Minnesota. Can somebody make it rain for Prince?  He owes $227,000 to the state and government. That is not it though. Prince’s companies, PRN Music Corp. and Paisley Park Enterprises, Inc. owe about $450,000.
Prince has a lot of explaining to do to his fans who are members of his online community. They discovered this morning that their credit cards were charged $77.00 to extend their membership. I am not a math scholar, but how many times does $77.00 go into $450,000?
He has between yesterday and May 2013 to pay off his debts.  We would call Prince and ask him about this. .. but there are not any phone numbers listed for his companies.
Our sources say Prince has until April 21 to file and objection to the sum or a court judgment will be entered against the properties for the unpaid tax, penalty, interest, and costs. I smell a high cost tour coming in the future. But wait a minute, he probably won’t show up. Prince was a no show at a concert in Dublin and he had the nerve to say, “Tell the cat to chill” when the promoters asked for his 3 million dollars.
Last month, an Irish judge determined that Prince better make it purple rain and pay the settlement pronto. He’s yet to pay the promoters.
