Television has the Emmys! Film has the Oscars! Now…Reality has UNSCRIPTED!
There is not an award show that acknowledges and honors the incredible talent and overwhelming influence of the Reality TV Stars.
Last night, Reality TV’s brightest stars converged at Atlanta hotspot Bar One. Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Peter Thomas and his wife Cynthia Bailey, in conjunction with Hip Hop Weekly’s publisher Dave Mays (formerly of the Source) announced the UNSCRIPTED Reality Awards scheduled to take place in September of this year. The awards will highlight individuals in the world of reality TV and will be ground breaking for the television and film industry.
Reality television has intrigued society and using the Unscripted Reality Show AWARDS, these stars can now be recognize and their accomplishments.
Thomas states; “The industry tends to downplay the value of Reality Television but the numbers don’t lie. Advertisers and fans know Reality Television is here to stay. Look at Nene Leakes and Bethenny Frankel and you see it’s time to recognize Reality for it’s mainstream success.”
