Every crew needs a preacher man and Rev. Al Sharpton is just that for Cash Money Records.

Political activist Rev. Al Sharpton has a new publishing deal with Cash Money Records!

No y’all he is not rapping or producing. He is writing and has signed on with  the literary arm of Cash Money Records.

Cash Money Content is the home of all of Cash Money writers which includes a diverse resume from the first daughters, basketball wives, and now political activists.

We see you CASH MONEY. DIVERSIFY that portfolio. We foresee business students studying the business practices of Cash Money and Roc Nation in the very near future. Hip Hop is full of brilliant businessmen.

According to reports, Al Shartpton’s next book ‘The Rejected Stone’ will be released under Cash Money Content and Massenburg Media in partnership with Simon & Schuster imprint Atria.

‘The Rejected Stone’, scheduled for release Oct. 8, will detail Rev Al’s “personal evolution” from New York street activist to political candidate and civil rights spokesman and his thoughts on today’s rappers including Cash Money artist Lil Wayne.

Sharpton told The Associated Press on Thursday that the book would include his thoughts on Lil Wayne and other rappers and that he was anxious to have a positive dialogue.

Al Sharpton has this to say about his relationship with the Lil Wayne et al.,

“Just because we disagree doesn’t mean we have to be disagreeable.”
