A number of musicians are sending their condolences and showing support after the death of Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera. The 43-year-old’s father Pedro told Telemundo TV that his daughter was among the seven passengers on a small plane that crashed in Mexico early Sunday. He says everyone on board died, including the two pilots. Gloria Estefan sent her best wishes to Rivera’s family as well as the others on board, as did Ricky Martin and Adrienne Bailon. Pitbull tweeted that he “highly respected” the singer and that she was a great example. Other stars to express their sympathies included “X Factor” host Mario Lopez, actress Eva Longoria, Russell Simmons, Randy Jackson, Wilmer Valderrama, radio personality Raquel Cordova and Dominican-American singer Kat DeLuna.
