
Seven is the magic number for Rihanna. “Billboard” says the singer will perform seven shows in seven days in seven countries around the world to promote her upcoming album “Unapologetic.” To get from show to show, she will be taking off on a Boeing 777 twinjet along with more than 150 handpicked journalists representing 82 countries, as well as an elite group of fans from her “Rihanna’s Navy” fan club. The launch date for the 777 Tour has been announced as November 14th. Rihanna will release more details about the tour dates and ticket purchase in the weeks to come.
She’s also set to return for a fourth time as a musical guest on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on November 10th. The singer will be heading to the MTV European Music Awards in Frankfurt, Germany a day later on November 11th. She’s leading the nominees with seven total nominations.
Rihanna is asking fans to drop big bucks on a special edition of her upcoming album “Unapologetic.” According to MTV News, the “Diamonds Executive Platinum Box” will run fans 250-dollars. The deluxe album comes with a number of rare extras, including colored “Diamonds” vinyl remixes, a handwritten personal note to her Navy, seven laptop stickers and seven Michael Muller lithographs of Rihanna. Buyers of the platinum box will also receive a 40-page notebook with handwritten notes and lyrics. A less expensive “Diamonds Deluxe Edition Box” is also available for 79-dollars. That set will include a T-shirt, the laptop stickers, a deluxe version of the CD and a “limited edition genuine, conflict free diamond bracelet.” The special box sets are available on December 11th. Rihanna’s “Unapologetic” is set to drop on November 19th.
