The homies Soulja Boy and Floyd Mayweather are coming to the aid of their homie Justin Bieber.
Check out what they have to say below.
The little homie Justin Bieber is getting backup in the after a video surfaced showing him telling a racist joke several years ago. Rapper Soulja Boy tells TMZ he doesn’t think Justin should be held responsible for what he said when he was just 15 years old, adding that he doesn’t believe the singer holds any prejudices. Boxer Floyd Mayweather is also vouching for the star, tweeting that Justin “has been nothing but kind” to him and his family and that his mistake in the video is “part of growing up.”
Even one of the singer’s former bodyguards is coming out to defend him. Kenny Hamilton tweeted that he thinks the joke in the video shouldn’t reflect on him as a person. The guard says he’s known Justin since he was 12 years old and “is telling the world that [he] is not a racist.” Justin himself issued an apology shortly after the leak, taking the blame and calling the joke a “childish and inexcusable mistake.”
