Last night was epic night; I got the chance to celebrate with one of the most outstanding and influential men of our time Ambassador Andrew Young. Atlanta’s former mayor celebrated his 85th birthday with grandeur and style with dignitaries from all walks of life at Phillips Arena.
Ambassador Andrew Young has done so much for the city of Atlanta, for our people, for our country and for the world. He’s known as the ambassador to the world and tonight the world celebrated his special day. The birthday celebration included a phenomenal concert and turned into an award show celebrating the work of two outstanding
people who serve. I once heard on the news that it’s nearly impossible to pack Phillips Arena but there were people everywhere and the event was near capacity. The crowd was electric and Atlanta was there to celebrate the life of Ambassador Young.
I’ve had the pleasure of taking pictures of Ambassador Andrew Young for over 13 years and I’m so inspired. Lessons I have taken away from this legend is to dream big and to serve. The evening felt like I stepped into a time capsule because I got the chance to see dignitaries from the arts to politics to celebrate the occasion. I had so much fun capturing the event. Happy Birthday Ambassador Andrew Young!
