Pooch Hall , AKA Derwin from the show The Game, just tweeted some news to Hosea Chanchez (Malik) and Tia Mowry (Melanie). What else could it be besides The Game is coming back? It was rumored last year that BET picked up the show and it was going to be filmed in Atlanta. After all of the cast claimed they didn’t know the fate of the show, it looks like we may be seeing Derwin and Melanie after the MARRIAGE…and let’s not forget the new baby Janay had.
I was told that the cast just had a meeting where they talked about everything for the new season including some new cast members and will start taping in 3 to 4 months. Although they couldn’t give me an air date….BUT they did say someone might NOT be coming back. Hummmm?  I cant tell yall about some of the other changes cause yall will know who told me but I must say the show is going to be good.  I love the show and can’t wait to see it.
Can’t wait for the new season to begin. I love this show, they should’ve never consider discontinuing. Typical people, but living the good life………

I absolutely loved this show and was upset when the CW cancelled it. I’m surprised that BET is willing to pay actors!!! If they do bring the show back I will finally watch BET. They drive me crazy showing 20 year old movies like they just came out yesterday. i mean hasn’t the ENTIRE world seen Juice and Boyz N the Hood??? ( although I love both of those movines still)

This is the best news, “the Game” is a great show it is unlike other comedies where they wrap everything in a neat little bow, this show continues the story’s like a serial where the audience can’t wait to tune in to the next episode. The only other show like that was “Girlfriends” which will always remain my favorite show. I think it would be interesting to bring on Tracey Ross’ “Joan” and maybe one of the other cast members of “Girlfriends”.
I love this show. I DVR every eposide and watch it as soon as I get home from work. I so want Jason and Kellie to get back together and I want Derwin and Melanie together. Tasha and Rick are great together. Now if we can just find Malik someone special maybe a white girl so Tasha can go off on him. LOL

Don’t get me wrong, I loved The Game and I do feel as though the show and the actors were done wrong, but I feel like they have waited too long to bring it back. My interest level is at zero @ this point. I don’t think it will be the same when it comes back.

The writing for this show is beyond fantastic. It has every element humor, drama, pain, passion and love. I love that the writers deal with real life issues in such a gentle way : race, homsexuality, interacial relationships, infidelity, friendship, parenting, divorce, marriage and religion. This is in my opinion the only show on television with real substance.
I’ve been watching this show since before the pilot, when they had melanie on Girlfriends as joan’s cousin moving away and in with her bf (derwin) the football player… I was def upset when I seen that it wasn’t coming back on. I don’t understand why the “major” networks don’t support black shows… guess we gotta do that ourselves. But anyway major kudos to BET for picking this show up off the curb CW’s wack ass dumped it off on. I just hope they don’t go censor crazy like they been doin with the syndicated episodes… I like tasha call out bitches and ho’s and tricks, that’s what’s real.

So very glad to hear the show is coming back! I am a “50 something” grandmother and I love the show! The writing is superb…no matter the ethnicity of the writers…the actors make it work! I am especially glad that from the original pilot they were smart enough to re-cast Kelly and Derwin, I did not enjoy the original Kelly and Derwin “at all”…kudos on that decision!

This is wonderful! I couldn’t be more happy to hear about a show returning to TV. This was one of the best shows ever. I sit and watch the reruns over and over and I NEVER get tired of watching them. I feel like I know them personally. I so need to know what happens with Mel and Derwin after the marriage and the new baby. I need step by step updates on progress towards taping the new episodes please. It will give me some relief. I have been going through a withdrawal of sorts since I ran out of new episodes. I love the whole cast, the writers and as another said here, TeeTee. Why is he not in the photos with the rest of the cast? Please we need as many of original cast members as possible, including and especially TeeTee. Peace all.

Seriously b/c I’m white I can’t watch the show – I hate to tell you but my white ass watching, rewatching & watching again the reruns on BET (as well as millions of other viewers) are the people who resurrected this show after cancellation. I saw them filming at Atlantic Station yesterday in front of Doc Greens – right there by all of the casual dining restaurants. Not sure how much they are filming at Atlantic Station, but the show is definitely in production. Good news for all of you fans out there!

I know this may be wrong to say (but I’m glad its just a TV show) I hope something happened to the baby that Janay was prego with and some how get wrote out of the show. the baby will ruin everything. All i can remember is Derwin leaving the wedding because Janay was having the baby, but i do not remember if she had it or not….. They should just kill the baby off….

The game is a great show! It’s diverse, interesting and is top notch intertainment. I love the white characters as much as I do the black ones. It’s very refreshing to see blacks and whites react possitively to each other, and that’s what THE GAME is teaching us to do. BET, with this great investment, you have just put yourself ahead of the rest. I have a new respect for your network, and wish you much success in the future.

Although the show is very entertaining, it’s distasteful. From random sex, to baby mommas, constant parties, drunkenness, cheating and foul language it is sending the youth/people a bad message. It’s sad that there are no real black shows left with some substance i.e. Martin, Living Single, New York undercover, The Cosby Show, Family Matters, Fresh Prince etc. Unfortunately, shows today are vulgar. If “The Game” does return, it should rethink its script just a little. 🙂

I am soooo excited that the game is coming back on. I watch the re-runs every……single…….day. Although I really want the baby to be Derwins (because I CANT STAND MELANIE’S CRY BABY SLUTTY ASS) I highly doubt it is. And Coby is hands down the funniest character in this show, there is a very lonely Game without Jason’s cheap ass. I will miss Janay’s sassyness, but I will watch this season from begining to end. I wish we had a cheat sheet to actually have sneak peaks of the new episode… BUT YAAAYYYY ANYWAYS TO THE GAME
My daughter told me that the GAME was coming back. I LOVE THIS SHOW, (and the drama). I thought it was crazy when the show canceled, and in the back of my mind I knew that it might come back! Let’s not go into the re-runs…..I sit there and wach it like I’ve never seen it before, and my family knows not to bother me when it’s on. Anyway, I can’t wait!!
Kelly Pitts will not be on the new season, sorry guys. She has no reason to return Jason has a new woman, her and Tasha Mack fell out. She no longer has a purpose on the show.
