Chris Brown kicks off the 2013 BET Awards with a high energy performance starting things off with his latest hit “Fine China.” Check the video inside…
The 2013 BET Awards got off to a great start by none other than Chris Breezy himself performing a medley of his latest hits. Chris got the crowd moving with his Michael Jackson inspired summer smash “Fine China.” He wore a black leather jacket with his backup dancers wearing sweatshirts with a neon “X” across the front, a nice subtle plug about his upcoming album X dropping July 16.
The choreography was too fresh and slowed down just a bit when Chris moved on to sing “Don’t Think They Know,” a track that features background vocals from the late and great Aaliyah.
The energy picked back up right on queue when the audience caught sight of Nicki Minaj hovering over them in a cage perfroming her bars for Breezy’s song “Love More.” Nicki dropped a few F-Bombs that the censors didn’t have time to catch, however. But we’ll give her a pass this time.
Chris Brown also won the Fandemonium Award, a nod to the artists who fans are relentless supporters no matter what, for the 4th straight year. Chris was clearly happy to get the award, and had this to say in response to how he’s portrayed in the media:
Don’t believe the bull in the news, I’m a real dude.
Well said. Check out Breezy’s performance below:
