‘Django Unchained’ hit theaters this week and Spike Lee was being criticized for not wanted to see the new movie due to the use of the ‘n’ word. Sarah Silverman speaks out and says, “you can’t tell art what to do.” See video inside.
As reported by TMZ, Silverman was out in L.A. and asked about Spike’s refusal of the movie. The ‘n’ word is used about 110 times throughout the film and Spike claims the Quentin Tarantino film mocks slavery and is “disrespectful to my ancestors.”
