Waka Flocka’s Younger Brother KayO Redd Died in Atlanta

The younger brother of Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame has died.

The homie Kayo Redd was an up and coming rapper and younger brother to the big homie Waka Flocka lost his life Sunday night in Atlanta. We are shocked and saddened by this news.

I feel major sadness as I report this shocking news about the homie Kayo Redd the brother to Waka Flocka and loving son to my home girl Debra Antney. Kayo Redd was excited just hours before his sudden death; he tweeted a shout out about his recently released mixtape, “Redd Kisses”. Kayo Redd seemed to have it all. He was apart of Hip Hop royalty being the kid brother to Waka Flocka and son to hip hop manager Debra Antney.

Waka Flocka tweeted a now deleted tweet that suggested that the homie might have committed suicide. He later took it down and replaced it with a simple post,

Ya Big Brother love you Kayo,” with a link to 15-second video tribute.

The cause of Redd’s death has not been officially confirmed.

Let’s pray for this family particularly Debra Antney, who posted the following,

“I just lost another son.”

KayO Redd’s sudden death is not the first for this family. Debra Antney lost another son Caodes in a car accident at the tender age of 13. As we celebrate the holidays please remember to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
