It is our time to be seen and heard. The best way we can be seen and heard, is by using our vote to show what we believe and stand for. The worst thing that we can do is play into the hands of our enemy by letting him provoke us to wrath and therefore silencing our true voice. If we want to see the things we believe in happen then we must use our voices by casting our vote and letting our vote be the demonstration of our power.
Sadly to say, at a Donald Trump rally that took place in Chicago that was cancelled, displayed a lot of upset Trump supporters and protesters physically and verbally attacking one other, all while Donald Trump were nowhere to be found. Isn’t it just like an instigator to provoke a fight and act like you didn’t have anything to do with it. Even though Donald Trump warrant these acts of violence and attacks.
Totally different from rallies and gatherings that the honorable leader Dr. Martin Luther King hosted and he wasn’t even running for our presidency seat. Take it from one of the greatest leaders of all time Dr. Martin Luther King, and I quote, “we still have a responsibility to act in a nonviolent way to answer the crucial political and moral questions of our time: the need for man to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to violence and oppression”. Haven’t we grown yet on how to respond to unjust politicians or has our minds become empty of everything that we’ve seen and heard through one of the most noble men, Martin Luther King. Let us stop and think and remember what Martin Luther King stood for and make our voice matter by putting in the vote that we believe we want to see happen and know what we want to be known and heard.
