Musiq Soulchild

Musiq performed as the headliner for the epic concert “Nu Soul Revival Tour.” The show was held at the Fox Theater.  ” Musiq the(11-time Grammy nominee) himself, “‘Musiq’ is the front man and ‘Soulchild’ is the idea behind it. It’s basically me as an artist in this generation, representing the traditions and the legacies of the past soul stars.”” It’s great to be on tour with platinum selling R&B and soul singer Lyfe Jennings, the R&B artist’s confessional tenor is matched only by his fluency in guitar, bass, and piano, a combination that’s earned the attention of collaborators Lil Wayne and Trina. Songs such as “Must Be Nice,” “S.E.X.,” and “Let’s Stay Together” are as likely to start dance parties as they are to transform your eyes into cartoon hearts.

Kindred the family Soul and Chrisette Michelle were also on the Atlanta tour and the Atlanta crowd definitely showed up and showed out last night for the show. The show was hosted by none other than funny man MC Lightfoot. Take a look at pics from last night’s concert !
