FreddyO.com started in 2005, back when Apple gave Mac users their own little website. For three years FreddyO was shooting Atlanta nightlife, red carpets and community events before most people had even heard of a blog.
In 2008 FreddyO locked in the freddyo.com domain and launched the official site. For more than 15 years it held thousands of photo galleries from the BET Awards, the Hip Hop Awards, movie screenings, TV premieres, parties and after-parties, plus the events that matter to the community: Thanksgiving turkey drives, Easter and holiday giveaways, Black Gay Pride and more.
Along the way came interviews with local artists and nationally known stars, award shows across the country, and the personal moments too: family birthdays, life updates, and breakdowns of the viral videos everybody’s talking about.
Now FreddyO.com is back, rebuilt from the ground up. Entertainment, culture, Atlanta and the world, through FreddyO’s lens.
