Nas is helping to shed light on the worldwide impact of break dancing. According to HollywoodReporter.com, the hip-hop star has signed on to executive produce the upcoming Adam Sjoberg-directed documentary “Shake the Dust.” The film chronicles teenagers in South America, Africa and Asia, who express themselves and their love of hip-hop through break dancing. Apart from production credits, Nas will also provide the original music for the film. In a statement, Nas says that the teens featured in the film remind him why he fell in love with hip-hop. After hearing Sjoberg’s vision for the film, Nas was “incredibly excited” to help bring the documentary to a global audience.
