Fans won’t have to wait until T.I. is to released from prison enjoy his next album. In a pre-recorded message aired on MTV’s “The Seven,” Tip announces that his upcoming record will drop next month. He states, quote, “My new album, entitled ‘No Mercy,’ will be released on December 7th.” T.I. goes on to say that he appreciates his fans for all their support, adding, quote:
“You’ll hear from me soon. Hold it down until I get back to you.” T.I.’s “No Mercy” was originally supposed to arrive back in August under the title “King Uncaged.” He eventually chose to delay the record’s release so he could focus on promoting his movie “Takers.”
On Monday, T.I. began serving an eleven-month sentence for a probation violation. The emcee and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were arrested back in September after police found the drug ecstasy in their car. T.I. was on probation at the time for his 2007 arrest on weapons charges.
