Congratulations are in order for Atlanta-based family owned barbecue restaurant Hattie Marie’s Texas Style BBQ & Cajun Kitchen who plan to open three new locations this year!

Duluth, Stockbridge, and Decatur are the selected Georgia cities for the newest locations of the popular eatery owned by husband and wife duo Willie and Ramona Griggie who named their restaurant after Willie’s mother who loved cooking and owned her own catering company and bakery in Texas.

The first location in College Park was opened in 2017 by the Griggies and is well-known around the area to serve pork platters and sandwiches, cherry wood pork ribs, sausage links, smoked wings, and Cajun-style fried catfish and shrimp.

Additionally, the Griggies plan to expand Hattie Marie’s beyond Atlanta with franchises throughout the country. No official dates for the opening of the new locations have been announced yet.
