The Swift-ness just keeps rolling at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, that’s Taylor Swift of course.
Taylor not only made her mark at the Billboard Music Awards in a phenomenal blue gown, but she dominated the charts by taking home eight trophies with her 3.7 million -selling “Red” album.
Swift received the night’s top honor, Artist of the Year, as well as her “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was named Top Country Song.
The star glistened as she stood on the stage at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where the awards for 45 different categories were handed out with pride. There were 16 featured performances, including Swift’s “22”, Bruno Mars and his band opening up the show with his new single, as well as Miguel singing “Adorn”.
Swift was honored with winning the following categories: Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Country Album, and Top Country Song.
Other winners consist of Goyte’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” which swept away four trophies in major song categories. Rihanna also reigned in the R&B category.
These are the only two artist that walked away with four trophies, so we really see who was coming out on top!!!
