Brooklyn Tankard

Thicker Than Water star “Brooklyn Tankard” is back on Bravo with a brand new body and singing her behine off (literally). What we weren’t ready for is her brand new look and her announcing she is now an artist! Brooklyn her dad Ben Tankard  did back to back performances at the fabulous screening party in Atlanta for the return of a new  season and so much has happened since Cyrene has gone to college.

Not only did we learn Cyrene is having some health issues, she went to college and seems to be all the way turned up! Hopefully Jewel Tankard will be able to talk some sense into her since it appears the holy water didn’t work. I think it’s just a phase she is going through since she had her first experience living away from home and is gaining her sense of independence. Cyrene didn’t make the screening (hopefully because she was away at college).

Benji seems to be growing up and into manhood since the new edition to the family. Good job daddy Benji. Ben’s son Marcus also had a new edition to the family baby Micah and took the leap of faith and moved into the nursery at the Tankard estate; but somehow I don’t think his wife is going to be patient and stay there long. Girl! Enjoy your time at your father in law’s and Jewel’s expense and look at it as a late wedding gift. You have a wonderful husband with parents who care enough to help you get off to a great start. Having a new baby could be quite expensive so enjoy the mini vacation.

Congrats on your baptism Marcus and we are sorry to hear about your biological mom. We are loving the relationship you are developing with your dad Ben Tankard and he seems to be very proud of the man you are becoming.  Let’s talk about Brooklyn and this new body. Brooklyn had a breast reduction and liposuction on her waist and thighs. Plastic surgery never looked so good honey and we are loving the fact you decided to take your show on the road literally with your new found singing career. But we are mad at your dad suggesting your first single was going to be “Twerk for Jesus”. We are also glad to see you and Diamond are living in your own castle.

Jewel, mama Jewel, mama Jewel what are you going to do about Cyrene and this little tude she is developing? Don’t ask her about sexy, drugs and alcohol? What! Please don’t pull a switch off a tree and go up to the college. Perhaps she got that feisty side of her from you so you can’t be too upset that she wants to express her independence. She actually is just taking a page out of the book of Jewel instead of the book of Job( in the bible) ; where we know you would have much rather her take a page out of and put it under her pillow at night. She has a good head on her shoulders but I think she may just get a kick out of bucking the system since she’s the baby-girl and a tad bit spoiled. We know Ben Tankard will help her see the light. Cyrene you can’t end up a stereotypical “PK”. We are simply not having it!

Last but not least our words for Ben Tankard. Thank you for becoming the family man you have become and thank God for Jewel in your life to provide balance. We are very proud of the recognition you received at the 2016 Stellar Awards in Las Vegas :

Ben Tankard lived up to his title as the godfather of gospel jazz when he won his 14th Stellar Award for Best Instrumental CD of the Year on February 20 during the awards ceremony in Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena. But just because the Thicker Than Water patriarch has been through this many times before doesn’t mean it ever gets old. “This is the No.14 Stellar but isn’t the ‘youngest’ baby always the cutest?” Ben joked to The Daily Dish via email. “I don’t think this will ever get old to me. I still get nervous chills when I’m at the Grammys, Stellars, or Soul Train Awards and the announcer says, ‘And the winner is……'”  Source Bravo Website
