NBA star of the New York Knicks, Carmelo Anthony, has officially been suspended for one game and without pay. This is due to the confrontation between him nad Kevin Garnett after Monday nights game.
TMZ reported the screaming match via video in the arena at Madison Square Garden. There are alleged reports that Garnett was talking about Anthony’s wife Lala and that was the spawn of the argument that started on the court and finished in the tunnel.
Carmelo will serve his suspension on January 10th according to the NBA for the Knicks vs Pacers game. Â A league released a statement, saying, “There are no circumstances in which it is acceptable to confront an opponent after a game.”
