Chris Brown‘s attorney, Mark Geragos, is fighting back over the District Attorney’s allegation that Brown and others have lied about the completion of his 180 hours of community service. He has filed legal documents to prove them wrong.
TMZ reports, Mark Geragos has officially filed a response to the DA’s motion and is claiming prosecutors omitted key facts. In the filing Geragos claims “no human being ever witnessed” Chris performing community service. He states, Richmond’s deputy police chief “observed Brown working very hard at cleaning the brush at the [police] stables.” Invoices and checks were also filed in the amount of $31,534.70 to the Richmond police for providing security during his service hours and the DA claimed they were unpaid.
Brown’s hours are being questioned because the bookkeeping hours and paperwork was filled out bout his mother who once was the director of the center. He also states in the filings, “what we’ve uncovered so far should shock the conscience of the court. And this is only the tip of the iceberg.”
