By using the knowledge of SMART goals, the best goal among the three choices is "I will outline two chapters of my management textbook before class starts next Tuesday." The reason for this is it is Specific; the things need to be accomplished was described fully, Measurable; the number of chapters to be outlined was presented, Attainable; the number of chapters to be outlined was not too much and there is a week-long preparation, Relevant; as a student, it is essential for a student to prepare for his/her class and last but not the least, Time-based; there is a time frame in meeting this goal which is before class starts next Tuesday.
