Wood is hard to bend, some metal is brittle. Ceramic made by clay, can't bend. Plastic probably. 
I learned in science that some metals are brittle but plastic is also brittle. I would go with metal because bending a metal fork is probably easier than bending a plastic spoon because the plastic spoon would break. Sorry if I'm wrong!!
