The answer is B.) 2 and 1/2 feet because if you multiply 1/2 by 5, that's what you get. or just think of it as putting 2 half ft pieces together and making one foot, but you have enough to put 4 half ft pieces together to make 2 ft total, but still have one half piece left over.
