I believe the answer is: relative poverty due to the feminization of poverty.
Feminizatiion of poverty refers to the rising amount of world's poor people which majority of them are women. This phenomenon become more prevalent in single parenthood since the parent who ran away from the responsibilities of rising a child are most likely to be male (women had to stick to until the baby is born, which reduce their likelihood to run away from the responsibility.)
