Elizabeth Spelke endorses a "core knowledge" approach
Core knowledge is a psychological hypothesis that tends to age-old debate of what limits are available from birth and what limits are gained through understanding and experience. The focal point of this approach is whether our uniquely human abilities are apparent early developed or whether the contrasts between our capacities and those of different species rise later being developed.
