Suppose the population of a certain city is 3920 thousand it is expected to decrease to 3053 thousand in 50 years find the percent decrease round to the nearest tenth

Percentage change= 100× [( final population )-(initial population)]/(initial population)

Initial population=3920

Final population=3053

Percentage change=100×(3053-3920)/3920

=the negative numbers means decreased by
