A small blue goat is tethered to the outside of a large square brown barn with 100 foot sides and all doors closed. the tether is 250 feet long and attaches the goat to one corner of the barn. the barn is located in the center of a large meadow. how many square feet of meadow are accessible to the goat? you may neglect the length of the goat.

Let   = the area of a 50’ radius circle

Area goat has = (¾).a + (¼).b + (¼).c + (¼).b - (½).c

Area goat has = (¾).a + (½).b - (¼).c
