Half of 4 is 2 so set up a proportion using 4, 32, and 2.

[tex]\frac{4}{32} =\frac{2}{y}[/tex]

Then, cross multiply and solve for y.

[tex]4y=64[/tex]

[tex]64/4=16[/tex]

[tex]y=16 hours[/tex]
