Hey there!!

Equation given :

2x² - 4x  = 0

Taking the common terms

2x ( x - 2 ) = 0

Divide by 2x on both sides

x - 2 = 0

Adding 2 on both sides ...

x = 2

And another answer would be zero as the whole equation is zero,

Hence the answer : ( 0 , 2 )

Hope it helps@+!!

2 x ^2 − 4 x = 0

Factor  2 x  out of  2 x 2 -4 x .

2 x ( x − 2 ) = 0

Divide each term by  2  and simplify.

x = 0

Set  x − 2  equal to  0  and solve for  x .

x = 2

The solution is the result of  2 x = 0  and  x − 2 = 0 .

x =  0 , 2
