PLEASE HELP!!! WILL GIVE BRAINLEST

This portion of the project is your chance to compare the health services you can access to the care available in other parts of the world. Start by researching health services in your community. Think about the doctor you visit when you are sick, the immunizations and screenings for vision and hearing you can get at school, a local drug store, or even the shopping mall. Also consider what happens when you have a major emergency and your ability to have care with just a 911 call away. Then research medical care in a third-world country. What happens when a person living in one of those countries becomes seriously ill or has a bad accident? How far must they travel to see a doctor or go to a hospital? Write a 250-word synopsis that compares and contrasts the two worlds.

Answer:

For a first world country, we have many options when we are sick. If we have a cold, depending on where you live, you can just go directly to a doctor most likely within fifty miles. If you were to have a heart attack and need immediate assistance, then you could call an ambulance and one will come and bring you to the hospital. There are well-trained professionals to help treat any illness you may have. There is more than one specialist and they can help you with your different diseases. For example, there will be a cardiologist for your heart instead of just a normal doctor. In England, health care is free and you will have no cost for seeing a doctor. However, in a third world country, eighty percent of people have to rely on local health care for health care. They also have to go to poorly trained doctors and poorly equipped health facilities. There is no 911 for them to call and they often have to walk several miles to get to a hospital, often taking them several days. People with chronic illnesses most of the time can’t afford a doctor or treatment and will remain sick until they die. In conclusion, we are extremely lucky to have the healthcare systems we do. We can catch a cold and it not be a death sentence.
